In 1993, Chris Johnson got his official start in the entertainment industry, when a friend had approached him in need of a DJ & MC for an upcoming wedding.  Having worked as a DJ/MC in other applications, Chris took on the task.  After a successful and fulfilling experience, CJ’s Disc Jockey Service was established and the rest is history.

It was a pleasure working with you for our wedding reception music.  We appreciate all of your time and effort that went into making our reception so special.  All of our guests did not want to leave the dance floor at the end - which is a great sign that everyone had a lot of fun.  Thanks again for everything!

A big believer that education breeds success, Chris regularly attends conventions all throughout the country, including the national Mobile Beat DJ Show, Midwest Mobile Entertainers Seminar, Wedpro 2011 & the Wedding MBA.
In an effort to improve the industry Chris also supports the ADJA (American Disc Jockey Association) and had been the St. Louis Chapter President since 2007.
